Company Profile
We focus on R&D in molecular diagnostic systems, commercialization of biotechnology products as well as the provision of molecular testing services that include Parentage (Paternity) Testing and Human Identification, in vitro Molecular Diagnosis of Diseases, Genetically Modified Food Testing, and Genotyping of Micro-organisms in the Environment.
Our laboratory and office are located in the scenic suburb of Shatin of Hong Kong, close to the Medical School of the Chinese University of Hong Kong, and easily accessible by public transits. Our modern laboratory is not only well equipped with state-of-the-art instruments but also with staff well trained in molecular biology. It is suitable for certification by the most rigorous standards. Experienced business managers staff our office and our knowledgeable sales/marketing team provides the required service and technical support.
In R&D, we collaborate with doctors and clinics, hospitals and universities in Hong Kong and the People.s Republic of China as well as abroad.
In service, our clients include the general public, clinical laboratories, hospitals, doctors, lawyers, as well as private industries.
Personnel
Our Chief Scientist has held faculty positions in universities in Canada, the USA and Hong Kong. He is experienced in modern biotechnology as well as molecular genetics.
Our Scientists have either Ph.D. or M.Sc. degrees in biological sciences or MD degree, and they are experienced in molecular biology and
biotechnology, in contrast to a regular technician in an X-ray & medical laboratory. All our Technologists and Technicians have at least a B.Sc. in biological sciences or medical technology. All of us are committed to provide a high quality, reliable and professional service.
Since 1999, GenePro has focused on DNA/RNA testing services. We also do R&D to improve the quality of our services.
